This Manchester United away shirt with Champions League numbering was personally signed by Cristiano Ronaldo in an exclusive signing session organised and carried out by Icons with the United and Portugal striker in Manchester on February 13, 2009.On the front of the shirt is a badge commemorating the 40th anniversary of United's European Cup victory in 1968 when they famously wore a blue change kit while defeating Benfica 4-1 at Wembley.Ronaldo is currently the number one player in the world and has enjoyed an incredible 12 months, winning the Premiership, Champions League and Club World Cup. On an individual level he was voted the FIFA World Player Of the Year and became the first Man Utd player to win the prestigious Ballon d'Or since George Best in 1968.The shirt comes in presentation packaging with an official certificate of authenticity featuring an image of Ronaldo signing the shirt. Only a limited edition of 20 of these blue shirts was signed by Ronaldo making it a highly collectable piece of sports memorabilia.
